Ajay Devgan is an Indian film actor, director and producer. And till now, he has done more than 100 films. He has won many awards, including two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honored by the Indian government by Padma Shri, India's fourth highest award.

Ajay Devgan started his film career with the 1991 film, 'Fool Aur Kante', and received the Filmfare Award for Best Debut for this. After this he continued to make successful and super hit films like Jigar (1992), Dilwale (1994), Suhag (1994), Naazayaz (1995), Diljale (1996) and Ishq (1997). In 1998, he got Mahesh Bhatt's dramatic film Zakham, in which his performance was highly appreciated and for this, he also received National Film Award for Best Actor. In 1999, he had a lot of discussion for his superhit film, 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', with Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, in which he played Vanraj (name) who tries to woo his wife with his love.

Prior to the year 2000, he had acted in a critically acclaimed Ram Gopal Varma's film based on Mumbai underworld company. In the film, he had played the role of a gangster, for which he also received the Best Actor Filmfare Best Critics Award. In the same year, he performed another acclaimed performance in the film 'Deewangi', for which he received the Filmfare Best Villain Award. In 2003, for his performance in Rajkumar Santoshi's Bhagat Singh-based film, 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh', he received Best Actor's second National Film Award. Along with that Ajay Devgn has also a production company, which he founded in 2000. In 2008, he started direction with his film 'You Me Aur Hum'.
