Kajol proved herself to be a wonderful and best actress in her Bollywood career. Along with this she has also received many awards. Including six Filmfare Awards, 12 Filmfare nominations. She has also won five Filmfare Best Actress Award, which is a record in itself. In 2011, the Indian government honored her with the fourth highest award of Padma Shri.

Kajol Biography

Kajol was born in the Mukherjee-enabled film family in Mumbai. Her mother Tanuja is an actress and her father Shamu Mukherjee was a film director and producer. In 2008, due to his cardiac arrest, her father Shomu died. Kajol's younger sister Tanisha Mukherjee is also an actress. Her aunt Nutan was also an actress and her grandmother Shobha Samarth and Paradadi Ratan Bai were both associated with Hindi cinema. Her native uncles, Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee were both film producers, whereas Paternal Dadasaheb Sakhadhar Mukherjee was a filmmaker. Kajol's brothers and sisters include Rani Mukherjee, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behal, all of whom are involved in Bollywood.
