Sridevi (born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan; 13 August 1963 – 24 February 2018) is an Indian film actress who worked in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. Often, Sridevi is also known as Female Superstar of Hindi Cinema.

Sridevi started her career as a child artist in M.A. Had worked in, she worked as a child artist in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

As a child artist, she started her Hindi film career with the Bollywood movie 'Julie' (1975).

At the age of 13, she worked in the Tamil film Mundhra Mudichu (1976).

After this, Sridevi proved herself to be a promising actress in Tamil and Telugu cinema, and superhit
films such as Vaithinilay (1977), Lekar kshana kshanam (1991).

In 2012, Sridevi returned with the film English Winglish in the film industry almost 15 years later and after so many years, she became the only actress to do a short return from a super hit film.

In 2013, the Indian government honored her with 'Padmshri'.

Along with this, he was inducted in the national pole of "Greatest Indian Actress in 100 Years" in 2013. In her film career, Sridevi has won total five Filmfare Awards.
